Our Story

The Candied Rib Company began with a simple vision: to offer barbecue that not only delights the palate but also nourishes the body, mind and spirit.

Founded by Craig and Lisa Dudinetz in 2017, our journey started with catering services and delivering boxed lunches to local businesses in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Driven by a passion for food and a commitment to quality, we quickly grew into a beloved destination for unique, health-conscious barbecue.

We also strongly believe that great food doesn’t need to compromise on taste, quality or health. That’s why we craft every dish to be well balanced and perfectly seasoned without the use of seed oils, GMOs, MSG, or high fructose corn syrup.




Our menu is designed with integrity, featuring nitrate-free smoked meats, gluten-free options, and vegetarian dishes to cater to all dietary needs.

At The Candied Rib Company, our kitchen is a testament to our commitment to quality, using house-rendered beef tallow, grass-fed butter, olive oil, and avocado oil-based mayonnaise.

Every sauce, seasoning and rub is crafted in-house, ensuring that every flavor is unique and authentic.
